Stockholm Visitors Board

Stockholm Visitors Board (SVB) is the official convention and visitors bureau of Stockholm and works with the marketing and development of the Stockholm Region as a travel destination.  SVB runs two central tourist information offices in Stockholm; the Stockholm Tourist Centre in the Sverigehuset/Sweden House and Hotellcentralen at the Central Station.

The tourist information office supplies information on Stockholm, it’s surroundings and Sweden. Additionally, the offices sell tickets to events and sightseeing tours.

Stockholm had 225,000 overnight stays from the US during 2004. This was an increase by 10 % from the year before. The positive trend continues during 2005 with an increase of 14 % for the first six months.
