When we visited Brit whatever her surname is, she made these delicious creamy au gratin potatoes.
Pre-heat the oven to 320 – 360oF.
Place the potato slices with the sliced onions, salt, pepper and cream in an ovenproof dish that has been pre-warmed.
Cover the slices with butter and any herbs at your disposal.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
Serve from the ovenproof dish.
