    Making your own butter not very economical but it allows you to make a butter that is nearly as good as the artisan butter made a century ago. It is very simple, all you need is a mixer and a little time. It will keep for about a week, a longer time if you manage to remove most of the buttermilk -- but I wouldn’t do that, because that is where the flavour is.
