    Dessert

    Serves 4

    PREPARATION:

    • 1

Place two whole apples in the freezer. Leave them for about three hours until they are frozen.

    • 2

Heat a frying pan. Peel, core and quarter the apples into large chunks. Add the butter and sugar to the pan and allow them to melt together. Add the apple pieces and fry them for a few minutes until lightly browned. Flambé the apples with the apple vodka. Add the apple juice and thyme. Let everything cook together until the apples are relatively soft and has light caramel consistency. Pour the cream into the plastic bag, twist the bag and seal it well. Shake the bag until the cream thickens. Yes, it works! Or you can always use a hand mixer.

    • 3

Take the frozen apples out of the freezer and grate them coarsely over the hot caramel apple. Finish it with a spoonful of freshly whipped cream.
