Apple Grog

Strong, hot and delicious, can be made with or without alcohol.

Preperation:

    Bring apple cider to a boil with sugar, cinnamon stick and blackcurrant leaves.

    Let simmer for approximately 10 minutes.

    Remove from the hotplate and wait for the temperature to reach 175 degrees.

    Add apple liquor just before serving. Season to taste with more sugar if necessary.

Ingredients

3 cups apple cider from Hardanger

1/2 cup sugar

1 cinnamon stick

2 dried blackcurrant leaves (can be excluded)

1/3 cup apple liquor
