    Skagen is Denmark’s northernmost town. On Skagens Gren (the branch) which is also the northernmost point of continental Europe, where the Skagerak and the Kattegat oceans meet, and the beautiful nature makes the area a popular destination.

    The town with the cosy, architect-drawn red and yellow houses has a truly special feel of relaxation and hospitality. The Gammel Skagen (Old Skagen) part of town offers fine seaside hotels, nice restaurants and the Sunset Square where it is possible to enjoy the beautiful sunset every night.

    Painters, poets, musicians and other artists have flocked to the town for over a century. This has made Skagen a lively town where you feel the creative energy and the flourishing cultural life.

    At the harbour in Skagen, you find a wide selection of culinary delights with freshly caught fish as the focal point.
