Nordland is a continual meeting of sea and land. Contrasting beautifully with green hillsides, the mountains rise above the crystal clear, azure ocean and create a dramatic setting for the vital fishing hamlets.

Here you can stroll on long, white sandy beaches, just like in much more southerly locations. You will be inspired by the blue-black mountains, decorated in many places with patches of snow, even in summer. Wherever you come from, when you are in Nordland there will be little rest for your camera. Hidden round every corner there are new subjects for you to capture. “I saw that!” and you can find your own words to describe the scent of kelp and salty sea, the tumult of screeching from the bird rocks and the taste of the fish you just caught from the sea.
