Andreas uses this daunting, but delectable creature and the more familiar and friendly looking Wild Salmon to prepare the main dishes of this episode.

Salmon Cooked on the Plate
In the recipe for Wild Salmon on a Plate with Fresh Asparagus and Cucumber Salad, the salmon is cut into very thin slices and placed on a very hot surface and actually cooked on the plate before the salad is added.

Catching the King Crabs
Later that day, Andreas dives into the sea to catch a few of the King Crabs. Scientists do not really agree whether they are a blessing or a curse. They are not indigenous to Norway, but have immigrated to Norway as a result of a Russian ecological experiment.

Preparing the Main Dishes
Andreas certainly would not miss this opportunity to create a delicacy. A Colorful King Crab Sandwich is the starter for the main meal of this episode. It is served on a slice of dark rye bread. This is followed by a Pan-Seared King Crab in Soy Butter with Pomegranate and Lingonberries as the main course served with a Cauliflower and Celeriac Gratin.
